Update user settings

Follow the steps below to update your user setting:

  1. Log in to your Section account.
  2. In the top navigation bar, click your user profile image and then User Settings.
  3. In your user setting, find and edit the setting field(s) you want to update and then click Save.

Enable two-factor authentication

Follow the steps below to enable two-factor authentication (2FA):

  1. Log in to your Section account.
  2. In the top navigation bar, click your user profile image and then User Settings.
  3. In your user setting, toggle the 2FA switch from Disabled to Enabled.
  4. Select how you would like to enable 2FA, either through SMS or an authentication app, and then click Save.

Submit a support request if you would like 2FA to be required for all users invited to your account.

Disable two-factor authentication

Follow the steps below to disable two-factor authentication (2FA):

  1. Log in to your Section account.
  2. In the top navigation bar, click your user profile image and then User Settings.
  3. In your user setting, toggle the 2FA switch from Enabled to Disabled and then click Save.

Submit a support request from your user email address if you are no longer able to provide the second form of authentication and need 2FA to be disabled by Section. Please keep in mind our 2FA reset process requires extensive verification and can take up to 7 days to be completed.
